Summary

(Edited from Wikipedia:)

A smitten Wolowitz thinks he's found his soul mate--until the woman, Dr. Stephanie Barnett, meets Leonard. Wolowitz invites Stephanie to drive the Mars rover, which winds up stuck in a ditch. Eventually, to hide evidence of what he has done, Wolowitz destroys all the security tapes and hard drives he can find relating to the Mars Rover mission. Leonard has a hard time deciding how to break the news to Howard that he is actually the one dating Stephanie. Sheldon, of course, is no help. Leonard decides to go to Howard's house to tell him himself. While there, Stephanie calls Howard and gives him the news. Howard tells Leonard "you are dead to me," which lasts until Stephanie invites Howard to double-date with them, fixing Howard up with Lisa, Stephanie's room mate. At the end of the episode, Wolowitz hears the news on TV that the Mars rover has found life on Mars in the bottom of the ditch, but as so much data has been mysteriously lost no one will ever know who made the amazing discovery. The episode closes with Wolowitz exclaiming, "Son of a bitch!"

Timeline

The episode covers events of at least four consecutive days (the guys meet Stephanie, the next date of Leonard and Stephanie, Howard finds out the truth and the guys are having Chinese, Howard talking to Stephanie's room mate about his mom's Friday dinner.

Since throughout the entire episode Howard talks about the dinner on Friday, all events must have taken place within a week finishing before Friday.

However, this somehow leads to a little inconsistency concerning the evening the guys have Chinese food. They usually have Chinese on Friday (see Schedule, which it can't have been here because of Howard's reference.

Title

(edited from Wikipedia)

The title refers to Sheldon's introduction of a modified form of Rochambeau, "Rock, Paper, Scissors, Lizard, Spock", but also to the fact that with the introduction of Stephanie to the story, the duo of Sheldon and Leonard is expanding to three.
