(second half of the second season and the first half of the third season)

• Sheldon, Leonard and Rajesh enter in a robot fight against Barry Kripke (0214)

• Sheldon tries to befriend Barry Kripke (0215)

• Penny has financial problems (0214)

• Leonard's mother visits (0215)

• Howard and Leslie start a "friends with benefits" relationship (0216)

• the guys go to a conference in San Francisco and meet Summer Glau on the train (0217)

• Penny starts her own business with Pennyblossoms (0218)

• March: the tenants in 5A move out and Alicia moves in (0219)

• April: Penny has a date with Stuart (0220, 0222). Raj's research on trans-Neptunian objects hits a dead end. He'll spend the next six months updating his Facebook page, checking email, messing up Wikipedia entries, and watching streamed movies on Netflix (0304).

• Leslie dumps Howard; Leonard, Howard and Rajesh go to Las Vegas (0221)

• May: Sheldon leads an expedition to the North Pole with Leonard, Howard, and Raj as his support team (0223). May 8: The new Star Trek movie opens. The boys miss it because they're off to the Arctic (0301).

• July 23-26: Comic-Con in San Diego. The boys go every year, but miss it this year because they're in the Arctic (0301)

• September: The guys return from the North Pole and Sheldon temporarily quits his jobs and runs away to stay with his mother in Texas; Leonard and Penny start a relationship (0301)

• 22 September: Leonard's mother leaves his father after he cheated on her with a waitress; this is the "weekend after Leonard's dog died" (0311)

NOTE: 22 September 2009 was actually a Tuesday

• 12 October: Raj tells the guys that he will lose his job and starts working for/with Sheldon during the following week (0304)

• Penny introduces Howard to Bernadette, while Sheldon loses the final round of the Mystic Warlords of Ka'a tournament in the Comic book store against Wil Wheaton (0305).

• 31 October: Raj loses his prized Patang fighting kite to Sheldon when his kite-fighting partner, Howard, runs off at a critical moment (0306)

• 7 November: Nebraska plays Oklahoma (football); Leonard tries to watch the game in order to meet and hopefully fit in with some of Penny's friends (0306)

• 16 November: Leonid meteor shower. Leonard, Howard, and Raj camp in the desert to observe it. Penny falls in the shower and dislocates her right shoulder (0308). Sheldon drives her to the hospital and runs a red light (0316).

• Howard and Bernadette start a relationship (0309, 0310).

• December: Leonard's mother comes to visit over Christmas (0311).
