Battlestar Galactica, often abbreviated BSG, is the name of two Science fiction movie series (USA) with a huge world wide fan base.
It deals with the nearly complete annihilation of the human race by robots called Cylons and the attempt of the survivors in an rag tag fleet, leaded by the last surviving battlestar called Galactica, to find a new safe home at a mythical planet called earth.
