Born-Oppenheimer Approximation

The Born-Oppenheimer Approximation is a mathematical short-cut used to work out quantum chemical calculations which would otherwise be extremely difficult and time-consuming to solve. Sheldon had a spoof of this short-cut on his whiteboard.
