Bowl

The dark green/black bowl on top of a sideboard next to the apartment door is the place where Leonard and Sheldon keep their keys. They are frequently seen putting their key into the bowl upon entering the apartment or taking their keys out of the bowl while leaving.
When Sheldon temporarily moves out he takes the keys out of the bowl, looks at Leonard and lets them fall back in (0201).
In "The Vegas Renormalization" Sheldon advises Penny to keep her keys in a bowl.
- Sheldon: We have a bowl. Our keys go in a bowl. You should have a bowl.
- Penny: How did the beautiful mind of Sheldon Cooper forget his keys in the first place?
- Sheldon: I left them in the bowl.
