An animated movie and television series that were released in 2008 as a prequel to the third Star Wars movie. It takes place between the events of Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith.
Sheldon does not seem to like the Clone Wars (0208).
Sheldon: I am sorry but I am not going to watch the Clone Wars TV series until I have the seen the Clone Wars movie. I prefer to let George Lucas disappoint me in the order he intended.
Note: George Lucas is the producer and creator of the Star Wars movies. The TV series was released in October 2008, while the movie was released already in August 2008. It is a bit strange that the guys have obviously not watched the movie by the time the series started. One would think that Sheldon would have watch the movie and made up his mind about it, while his comment suggests that he heard things about it and therefore is rather skeptical.
