Cooper, George
From The Big Bang Theory Wiki
Father of Sheldon and Missy and a son named George Jr. (according to a family tree drawn by Sheldon (0402)). Married to Mary Cooper. Deceased.
Sheldon's father insisted that his son learn about football, which is ingrained into the culture in Texas. George would start their football conversations with the phrase "Alright, Poindexter, sit down, shut up, and listen" (0306).
George and Mary Cooper fought a lot. During their loud and violent arguments, Sheldon would hide in his room while his mom would be threatening to kill his dad and his dad would be up on the roof "skeet-shooting" his mom's Franklin Mint collectable plates (0307).
Quotes about Sheldon's father:
Mary Cooper: You know how your daddy used to say that you could only fish for so long before you gotta throw a stick of dynamite in the water?
Mary Cooper: Oh, [he was] not so wise. He once tried to fight a bobcat for some licorice.
