Howard turns up with a video of Stephen Hawking at MIT in 1974. That year was a very impressive one for Stephen Hawking. In 1974 he became famous when he calculated that despite their enormous gravity, black holes would give off some radiation, now called Hawking radiation. Also in that year, he was inducted into the prestigious Royal Society in a ceremony in London.
