Leonard's father. He is an anthropologist who worked with Louis Leakey and gave Leonard the middle name 'Leakey' as a result (0106).
Leonard as a child built himself a "hugging machine" to simulate the warmth of human contact he never got from his mother. His father borrowed it on occasion (0215).
Leonard's parents live in New Jersey (0211) and are probably associated with Princeton University (0215).
