Ice Station Zebra

"Ice Station Zebra" is a 1968 film about a US submarine on a mission to recover spy film in the Arctic under the guise of rescuing scientists at a small science station. The film is a Cold War thriller which starred Rock Hudson, Jim Brown, Patrick McGoohan, and Ernest Borgnine.
On the first evening of their three-month stay in a small science station at the Magnetic North Pole, the boys watch two movies: "Ice Station Zebra" and "John Carpenter's The Thing", both of which involve dangers in small science stations in the Arctic.
