Kim, Dennis

A highly gifted child prodigy that fled North Korea with his family at the age of 13 and a half, while his grandfather stayed behind.

Dennis wants to start his graduate work at Caltech, being only 15, and Dr. Gablehauser is very impressed and keen for him to join the department.

He won the prestigious Stephenson Award at an age younger than 14 and a half, thereby beating Sheldon in being the youngest ever to win the award.

Dennis thinks Sheldon's research is a dead end, much to Sheldon's chagrin, and Dennis even corrects and criticizes the work on the board in Sheldon's office. Dennis likes chocolate milk and does not like weight lifting.

When he meets Emma, a girl his age, he changes his mind about joining the Physics department, and the guys later meet him in a park where he's surrounded by other teenagers drinking and enjoying themselves.

Dennis Kim is played by Austin Lee.
