Chuck Lorre is a writer & producer, who who was worked on many American sitcoms.
Lorre's first break was writing for the "Roseanne" show, enjoying a tricky working-relationship with star Roseanne Barr. His luck with strong female stars didn't improve when he created "Grace under Fire" which starred Brett Butler. Lorre then created "Cybill", a vehicle for Cybill Sheperd, which lasted 3 years. Lorre co-created "Dharma and Greg" with Dottie Dartland, the show lasted 5 years. In 2003 Lorre co-created, with Lee Aronsohn, his most popular show yet, "Two and a Half Men". Men runs to this day, and is America's most popular sitcom. In 2007 Lorre & writing-partner Bill Prady created The Big Bang Theory.
