Moonlight Rollerway

A roller skating rink in Glendale [1]. They have a Disco Night on Thursdays.

In January 2010, Raj wants to go to the Disco Night. However, Howard and Leonard decide to take Bernadette and Penny, which deeply upsets Raj. While Howard and Leonard are really confident about their roller skating skills, Bernadette and Penny appear rather embarrassed (0314).

The scenes at the Moonlight Rollerway were filmed at the real location. Filming began on the 4th Jan 2010. The location shoot at the Moonlight Rollerway (18 January 2010) was the first location shoot of the series. All previous exterior shots were filmed on the Warner Bros lot. The Moonlight Roller Rink is a real place, converted to a roller skating rink from a WWII aircraft factory in the 1950s. The shoot at the Moonlight was the first actual location shoot of the series, according to Bill Prady's twitter feed ("moonlight was our first actual location shoot. Told the place hasn't changed since it opened in 1951 or something." Tweet dated 1 February 2010).
