A fictional character from the Star Trek universe.

Jean-Luc Picard is captain of the starship Enterprise in Star Trek: The Next Generation and the Star Trek movies VII-X. In contrast to Kirk he is a very skilled diplomat and prefers to delegate authority.

He is played by actor Patrick Stewart.
