Pirate

When Raj loses his job and is at risk of being deported, Sheldon suggests "the pirate solution": alternative to going back to India or immigrating to another country, Raj could "wander the high sees as a state-less pirate".

He states that he would chose "pirate" and that it would also suit Raj's problems with women, because it is even today "an all male profession".

When Raj later explains that he spent the last six months being paid by the university but not doing any work, Sheldon points out that such behaviour was highly unethical for an astrophysicist, but "practically mandatory for a pirate" (0304).
