Star Wars

Science fiction movie series (USA) with a huge world wide fan base.

The first three movies were released 1977, 1980 and 1983 ("Star Trek IV: A New Hope", "Star Trek V: The Empire Strikes Back", "Star Trek VI: The Return of the Yedi") and the series was completed between 1999 and 2005 with "Star Trek I: The Phantom Menace", "Star Trek II: Attack of the Clones" and "Star Trek III: The Revenge of the Sith".

In 2008, a prequel animated movie and television series called The Clone Wars have been released. Many novels, comic books, model kits, and other memorabilia have also been produced.

Main characters in the Star Wars series are Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Princess Leia, Han Solo and the Yedi Knights Obi-Wan Kenobi and Master Yoda.

The boys revere the Star Wars saga, although they concede that some incarnations, such as the Clone Wars, don't live up to their expectations. They collect various Star Wars related merchandise.
