Valentine's Day 2010 (0315)
On Valentine's Day in 2010, Leonard gets asked by the university to fill in for Professor Norton to see CERN's Large Hadron Collider in Switzerland. He wants to take Penny to accompany him, a decision which Sheldon viciously fights against.
In the end, Penny and Sheldon both get sick and spend the day together in Leonard's and Sheldon's apartment, while Leonard takes Raj on the trip to Switzerland.
Howard is spending the day with Bernadette and plans to take her to P.F. Chang's China Bistro, where they have a 39.95$ Lover's Special complete with egg roles, dumpling, bottomless wok and couples get their picture taken on the big marble horse out front.
What the guys usually do on Valentine's Day
Raj usually spends every Valentine's day with buying a rotisserie chicken from the supermarket, taking it home, stanidng over the sink and eating it out of the package with his bare hands like an animal (0315).
Leonard dreamed about spending Valentine's day with a girl since he was six (0315).
Sheldon's point of view
Sheldon: Given that St. Valentine was a 3rd century Roman priest who was stoned and beheaded, wouldn't a more appropriate celebration of the evening be taking one's steady gal to witness a brutal murder?
