Summary

After he's humiliated on National Public Radio, Sheldon vows to destroy Kripke, while Wolowitz tries not to destroy his new relationship with Bernadette.

Episode Outline

I. in front of Bernadette's apartment block

• Howard and Bernadette are having their date. When Bernadette asks him, what he's looking for, Howard gives the wrong answer.

II. Living room

• Penny, Leonard and Sheldon are watching TV, when Howard turns up. They wonder why he returns from his date so early.

Titles and opening theme

III. Cafeteria

• Howard, Raj and Leonard discuss what happens on the third date. Sheldon wants to announce that he will give in interview on NPR, when Kripke turns up and spoils the surprise.

IV. Living room

• Sheldon wants Howard to check his answers for the interview.
• Penny turns up and asks Howard about his problems with Bernadette.

V. somewhere in the Physics department

• Kripke opens the valves of two helium gas bottles from which a tubing is led into Sheldon's office.

VI. Sheldon's office

• During his interview with Ira Flatow, Sheldon starts to speak in a very high pitch because of the leaking helium.

VII. Cafeteria

• Kripke broadcasts the interview on the radio and celebrates his humiliation of Sheldon. Leonard, Raj and Howard join the laughter.

VIII. bathroom in Howard's house

• Howard enjoys a bath with an imaginary Katee Sackhoff before his mother interrupts him.

IX. Sheldon's bedroom

• While Raj is rather mocking, Leonard tries to comfort a deeply upset Sheldon and tries to motivate him to take revenge on Kripke.

X. Cheesecake Factory

• Howard tells Bernadette that he wants to be with her and proposes. She rejects.

XI. Living room

• Sheldon demonstrates his plan for revenge on Kripke. Raj and Leonard are enthusiastic about the idea. They watch the revenge unfold...which unfortunately does not only hit Kripke but also President Seibert of the university and the board of directors...

XII. Cheesecake Factory

• Howard dedicates a song to Bernadette to apologise.
